Improving Access to Healthcare in Rural Zambia

On Call Africa assists thousands of people who would otherwise have little or no access to essential healthcare services; by working to strengthen and augment the capacity of existing services rather than replace them.

Mobile Medical Clinics

On Call Africa mobile clinics treat a number of common complaints and diagnose many conditions including HIV, Malaria, STIs & pregnancy without requiring patients to travel to outstretched health centres.

Health Education

Health education sessions empower rural communities to address the health issues they identify as most pressing, where we put the emphasis on prevention over cure.

Training Community Health Workers

On Call Africa aims to achieve a system of sustainable healthcare in targeted areas by increasing the capacity of Community Health Workers (CHWs) to attend to the health needs of their village.

Sustainable Healthcare

Since 2011 On Call Africa has treated over 30,000 unique patients. Our health education sessions focus on empowering Zambians to live healthy lives, using community-based solutions.
